Ian has recorded in many of the UK's premier studios including Abbey Road, Angel, RAK, AIR, AIR-Edel, Dean Street, British Grove etc, for assorted jingles, library, TV, radio, video game, film and pop sessions. He has appeared playing onscreen in The Hollow Crown (BBC) and provided percussion consultancy services including onset supervision for Warner. Ian has been televised from the BBC Proms on numerous occasions and appeared on BBC Radio 2 The Piano Rooms with various artists. He performed at the 2025 Royal Variety Show, leading many marching drummers and a cast of over 400 in a celebration of 40 years of Les Mis to an estimated global audience of 152 million viewers.
